Keep it going!

Today, the Colorado Senate Appropriations Committee approved SB-11, the Colorado Civil Union Act. The bill now moves to the Senate floor for a vote.

If passed, SB-11 will provide committed gay and lesbian couples with critical legal protections and responsibilities, such as the ability to take leave to care for a partner, to make medical and end-of-life decisions for a partner, and to adopt children together.

We need to keep the momentum going. Contact your senator today!

It’s critical that SB-11 passes and goes to the Colorado House for consideration. Contact your senator using the form below, and thank them for sponsoring civil unions, or encourage them to stand on the right side of history and vote "yes."
