Tell Congress: Vote on ENDA NOW!

No more delays!
It’s time to tell Congress they need to vote
on the Employment Non-Discrimination Act!

Hundreds of organizations issued a strong statement demanding that Congress stop delaying and take immediate action on ENDA.

It is outrageous that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people STILL do not have a federal law protecting them from workplace discrimination. In most states it is completely legal to fire someone because they are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. Legal, but wrong.

We need everyone to take action now to tell Congress to vote on this bill, once and for all. Equality is on the line for millions of Americans.

Please take action right now. Here’s how:

Call the Capitol Switchboard at 202.224.3121 and ask to speak to your representative. (If you’re not sure who your representative is, simply give the operator your zip code and they will connect you.)  Then, follow this script:

My name is _____ and I live at (give your street address) in (give your city/town). I am calling in support of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (H.R. 3017) to protect lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people from job discrimination. This bill needs to be voted on NOW. Please pass ENDA now. Thank you for your time.
