Your state senator could be the deciding vote enabling the anti-transgender bill SB 723 to be considered on the floor of the Texas Senate.
SB 723 would remove current provisions which allow for an affidavit of a sex change to be used as an identity document to obtain a marriage license in Texas.
The only legislative intent of SB 723 is to discriminate against transgender Texans and remove the currently-available option.
SB 723 is the 49th bill in line on the Senate's Regular Order of Business for Fridday, May 13th.
