Equality Alabama has composed the following list of places of worship and meditation that are welcoming to the LGBT community. The list has several sources, including recommendations from individuals who have visited or are members of particular churches or other places and who felt comfortable and welcome. The list is not meant to provide an indication of any particular church or denomination policy, and Equality Alabama urges individuals to make their own choices about if and where they want to worship.
The list is not complete, and will be updated as new information is received. When new information is added, “Updated mm/dd/yyyy” will be seen at the top of the page so you will know whether to look for different information.
